JOB OUTLINE

Reporting to the People Manager, the People Coordinator will be responsible for the administration and coordination of various people activations for Muskoka Brewery. You will also assist the Vice President of Culture and Community in large scale planning and programming. This individual will bring a passion for our team and culture, maintain a high level of confidential information, and have a keen focus on accurate administration details.

HR Coordination:

- HRIS super user, Lead various administration projects
- Complete all people database adjustments

Reporting:

- Develop key up to date reports ensuring resources and objectives are met on an annual basis.
- Working with the Vice President of Culture and Community to prepare annual updates

Onboarding & Training
- Lead in the development on the orientation and onboarding program
- Create new team members onboarding schedule, conduct new team member orientation

Recruitment:

- Develop and lead all recruitment initiatives for our summer recruitment campaigns including on campus & job fair recruitment events.
- Lead the recruitment for specific part time and full-time roles

Employee Relations:

- Be a key point of contact for the department, providing a consistent message and fielding any inquires.
- Assist the Vice President in launching various strategic people and safety programs
- Assist the People Manager in organizing various people lead events

Safety Training Coordination:

- Conduct safety orientation training and determine annual safety program training needs
- Work with operational leaders in the development of annual brewery safety talks program

QUALIFICATIONS
- Successful completion of a Human Resource Management program, working towards a CHRP is an asset
- At least 2 years of experience in the human resources field with a desire to be involved in all aspects of the profession
- Strong software skills including HRIS database and intermediate MS Office (Excel, Word, SharePoint and PowerPoint)
- Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented and great follow through on multiple projects and tasks
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Proven excellence in ethical practices including a high level of integrity and confidentiality

This is a hybrid role and will require you be at the Brewery 3-4 days a week.
