**Job Summary**
**Duties**
- Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, utilizing upselling techniques to enhance guest experience.
- Prepare food items as needed while adhering to food safety standards and guidelines.
- Handle cash transactions with accuracy, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner, checking back with guests to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Assist in the training of new staff members on restaurant policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during peak hours.
**Experience**
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments.
- English proficiency is required, and knowledge of Arabic and/or Spanish would be a valuable asset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
