**Part-Time French Teacher**

Are you **passionate** about education?

As a tutor, teacher and mentor at **Scholars Education Centre**, you will be responsible for providing superior individualized academic support to our students. You are joining a dynamic team that will work with you to make sure that you make a difference in lives of each and every student you have the opportunity to work with.

**Essential Job Functions**
- Instruct students on an as-needed basis
- Report student progress
- Prepare teaching materials, when applicable
- Attend training workshops
- Complete administrative tasks
- Achieve _Real Life Results_ for each student Follow, adapt, and provide feedback regarding each student’s individual Goal Sheet - our guideline and benchmark to providing individual success for each student we work with

**Requirements**:

- Ontario certified teacher (flexible at the Centre Director's discretion)
- Experienced and educated in the background of tutoring/mentoring to be provided
- Vulnerable Sector Checks to be completed if not done recently
- Able to work both as a part of a team and independently
- Strong communication and multitasking abilities
- Experience with students in a teaching or tutoring environment
- Excellent organizational skills

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 8-12 per week

**Salary**: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:

- teaching: 1 year (preferred)
- tutoring: 1 year (preferred)
