Are you interested in working in the transportation planning field? At Parsons we are a community of dedicated professionals with different points of view who enjoy designing and building stuff. We are looking for a planning intern to join our Ottawa team who is driven and has a desire for hands on learning.

In this position, you will assist technical staff in completing project related tasks and your responsibilities will include:

- Completing technical research
- Reviewing planning policies and other legislative documents
- Preparing technical memos and writing reports
- Attending client meetings and preparing meeting summaries
- Participating in consultation sessions and public meetings
- Other duties as assigned

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Full-time student registered in a planning or related discipline at a university
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point)Experience using GIS to create maps and graphics
