**ROLE**

As a Drafter, you will be a part of the Benchmark International Engineering Team providing Engineering support to all the divisions within the Benchmark International portfolio. As a company operating under the ISO principles, we strive for on-time and in-full delivery to satisfy the needs of our customers. We are also committed to continuous improvement of our products and processes. This role will be instrumental in helping ensure that our products and services continuously improve as technical capability is optimized and customer expectations rise. This position has the responsibility for providing drafting and design support for the delivery of custom engineered solutions. The incumbent will have a variety of integrated job functions that require a variety of technical skills. Initial role will focus on the support of mechanical and process design aspects related to the systems being built.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES**
- Provide drawings included with the engineered systems described above.
- Preparation of drawings for customer requirements
- Preparation of fabrication drawings for suppliers
- Preparation of sketches for inclusion in project proposals
- Preparation of photo view drawings for proposals and/or customer reviews
- Fabrication & Assembly support
- Provide assembly & detail drawings for in-house fabrication and assembly activities
- Support assembly through troubleshooting of fabrication & assembly challenges and provide solutions
- Provide hands-on assembly & fabrication support as required to meet critical deliveries
- Work with suppliers to ensure accurate and quality parts are provided on a timely basis

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Diploma in Drafting
- Knowledge of Solidworks required
