**Salary**:PT Support Payband 7 (Start $21.01- Max $32.32)

**About the Accounting Tutor Role**:
The Accounting Tutor provides assistance with problem-solving and class assignments to students enrolled in all accounting courses at both the diploma and degree levels. Specific responsibilities include development and delivery of one-on-one group tutorials; preparing students for testing; using creativity and initiative in reaching out to students to help them identify areas for academic improvement; as well as providing assistance to individual students in identifying the knowledge and strengths that each student can use when problem solving. The incumbent also co-ordinates, supports activities in the Accounting Centre.

**Education**

**Experience/Skills**
Minimum of two years of significant work experience in the accounting tutoring field.
- The ability to work in a diverse, dynamic, multicultural environment with scarce resources, mediation skills, commitment to teamwork.
- A high degree of attention and focus to detail
- Experience in the use of computerized accounting software/programs (Sage 300, Sage 50, Quick Books and Profile), and the potential to assume broader administrative responsibilities.
