To be successful as a truck driver, you should possess extensive experience in local & Cross-border long-distance truck driving and the ability to stay alert for extended periods. Ultimately, a first-class Truck Driver is committed to delivering freight in a safe and timely manner.

**Responsibilities**:

- Delivering freight over long distances across the country's road networks.
- Planning routes efficiently and delivering freight on time.
- Performing prescribed truck inspections before departure to ensure good running order.
- Documenting the freight's condition before departure and inventorizing loads.
- Ensuring proper placarding & paperwork for Transportation of Dangerous Goods.
- Securing the freight in place before departure and monitoring its safe distribution throughout the trip.
- Supervising the loading and unloading of freight and obtaining the client's signature on delivery.
- Performing service checks on tire pressure, oil, and fluid levels, as well as minor repairs, when required.
- Logging hours and distances driven, rest stop durations, as well as all fuel, repair, and toll expenses.
- Communicating any delays due to road conditions, accidents, or breakdowns to dispatchers.
- Minor truck maintenance (adding oils, fueling).
- Check containers for damage before delivery and pick-up, report all unsafe items to supervisor immediately.
- Ensure the truck is maintained to meet 5S Standard.
- Load (Hand bomb) their own trailers.
- Complying with federal and state trucking rules and regulations, including mandatory rest periods and weight restrictions.

**Requirements**:

- Valid AZ license with 1-3 years of AZ driving experience w/ clean drivers abstract.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience with driving required.
- TDG experience, a must
- Valid passport for USA routes
- Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills
- Ensure high standards of workmanship and efficiency.
- Maintains all required company paperwork.
- Follows all Federal regulations per Department of Transportation standards.
- Must be able to effectively communicate in English.
- Must be able to comply with all established rules and policies (safety, production, etc.)
- Must be able to lift 55 lbs.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to work any work time as needed.
- Must be able to maintain an acceptable attendance record.
- Capable of working in extreme working conditions (outdoors, weather, terrain)

**Salary**: $23.00-$30.00 per hour
