Cogir is a growing Quebec company, which acts as an owner, investor and property manager for different types of clients, mainly in the sectors of office buildings, shopping centers, private residences for seniors, residential complexes and hotels and whose activities are spread across Canada and the United States.

**:
Cogir is looking for a bilingual legal advisor with a minimum of 3 years' experience to be part of its legal team, made up of six other legal professionals and support staff, under the management of the Vice President, Legal Affairs.
**Please note that the position is temporarily located in Brossard (until the summer) and will be required to move to downtown Montreal.

**ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Carry out diversified and complex mandates, in collaboration with an experienced team
- Draft, review and negotiate various commercial contracts, including rental, construction and services
- Interpret the rights and obligations of the parties during execution
- Play an important advisory role with the company's various divisions and customers
- Provide legal support to business units mainly in real estate, commercial, transactional and corporate law

**EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Hold a bachelor's degree in law and be a member of the Barreau du Québec
- Have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in real estate law, commercial leasing and commercial law
