**Job Overview**
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in the hospitality industry. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. Your responsibilities will include greeting guests, managing reservations, and coordinating seating arrangements while providing outstanding customer service.

**Responsibilities**
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently to optimize seating arrangements.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about menu options, specials, and reservations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area.
- Assist in addressing guest inquiries or concerns promptly to enhance their experience.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a high standard of guest services throughout the restaurant.

**Skills**
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and staff.
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Excellent phone etiquette for handling reservations and inquiries.
- Knowledge of hospitality principles to provide exceptional guest services.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus for managing orders efficiently.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others contribute to a great team atmosphere.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $18.40-$19.40 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 20 per week

Additional pay:
