As a Site Security Manager working in the security team at Pomerleau Construction, you will be responsible for overseeing all security operations at the project site. This role serves as the primary point of contact for all security-related issues and ensures the implementation and maintenance of effective security measures. Supporting our work in large-scale building and infrastructure projects, ranging from $1.5 to upwards of $1 billion
- you will have the opportunity to contribute to the safety and security of our operations.

Please Note: this is a full-time on-site position.

**What You Will Do**
- Plan and develop robust security measures.
- Manage access control procedures and ensure adherence to access procedures.
- Manage the supervision of all security guard staff, including production and management of the project security guard post orders and team rotation schedules to ensure adequate site coverage.
- Conduct planned and unannounced security inspections for the duration of the project to ensure compliance to security requirements.
- Create and manage authorized personnel lists and personnel access cards.
- Oversee and provide quality control of the production of daily or weekly or as necessary access lists and associated badging and access protocols for the project site.
- Collaborate with the project team on all site security matters to ensure that construction meets schedule milestones.
- Manage the production and placement of security related signage for placement on the project site and ensure compliance with such signage.
- Develop and manage procedures to ensure quality inspections of personnel, vehicles, materials, tools and construction equipment entering the site.
- Produce weekly security reports, analyzing results and communicating findings to the project team.
- Own the management and reporting of all security incident reporting.
- Conduct weekly reviews of the various security-related logs and raise issues regarding to ensure accuracy and compliance with security regulations.

**This role could be for you if you have**
- A minimum of 5 years working in site security management, preferably within the construction industry.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal and management skills.
- Strong proficiency with security systems and protocols.
- Knowledge of the PSPC Contract Security Program.

Additional assets include:

- Fluently bilingual in both official languages, written and oral English and French
