**Summary**
We are seeking a **Head Cook / Kitchen Supervisor** to join our team in **Toronto, ON**. This pivotal role involves overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of quality in food preparation, and contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

**Responsibilities**
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and high-quality food preparation.
- Supervise kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Implement food safety and sanitation protocols in compliance with Ontario regulations.
- Assist in menu planning, recipe development, and seasonal specials.
- Manage inventory, including ordering, storage, and minimizing waste.
- Train new kitchen staff on procedures, recipes, and safety standards.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper maintenance of kitchen equipment.
- Stay informed on culinary trends and incorporate innovative techniques where appropriate.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in a kitchen setting, ideally in a supervisory or lead cook role.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a team.
- Excellent knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Culinary training or experience in a professional kitchen is preferred.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with a team.
- Passion for food, hospitality, and creating exceptional guest experiences.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
