**Overview**

**Duties**
- Greet and seat guests promptly, providing them with menus and information about daily specials.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, utilizing the POS system (Micros POS preferred) for order entry.
- Serve food and beverages to guests, ensuring timely delivery and presentation.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Handle cash transactions and process payments through cashiering duties.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and service stations.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely order fulfillment.

**Skills**
- Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, with a strong background in food service and hospitality.
- Proficient in using POS systems, particularly Micros POS, for efficient order processing.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Knowledge of food handling practices, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual responsibilities.
