**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Cultivate and maintain various types of mushrooms in accordance with established guidelines; optimize production and quality while minimizing cost.
- Responsible for monitoring and maintaining growing room climate and watering system.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain equipment and tools.
- Employ hand tools effectively for planting, pruning, and harvesting activities.
- Conduct regular inspections of plants to monitor health and growth progress.
- Participate in heavy lifting tasks related to planting, moving materials, or harvesting crops.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain daily communication with other necessary departments, providing daily growing rooms updates.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience or knowledge in gardening or horticulture is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to gardening equipment is highly desirable.
- Ability to irrigate effectively, understanding the needs of different mushroom varieties.
- Physical capability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, willingness to learn, work independently and as a team player are key attributes for success in this position.

Pay: From $17.84 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 48 per week

**Experience**:

- Mushroom Cultivation: 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (required)
