**Procurement Specialist**

Marine Thinking is seeking a highly-motivated individual looking to join an agile, dynamic, and motivated team in the ocean artificial intelligence (AI) and robotic technology industry. Our technology aims to help protect the environment by supporting the sustainable development of the marine industry. We are looking for an experienced **Procurement Specialist **for sourcing and purchasing material goods, and services required for our company’s USV solutions and products. The ideal **Procurement Specialist** will have a strong procurement background, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Knowledge of the marine industry is a plus.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials, goods, and services
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement requirements and identify potential cost-saving opportunities
- Evaluate supplier proposals and negotiate pricing and terms of agreement
- Monitor supplier performance and address any issues that arise
- Manage the procurement process from initial order placement to delivery and payment processing
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments to identify potential new suppliers and cost-saving opportunities
- Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Promote in-depth cooperation and expand the supply chain resources for ocean technology-related products

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software
- Knowledge in the marine industry, particularly related to government procurement regulations and requirements.
