**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Develop and prepare high-quality dishes that meet the restaurant's standards.
- Manage daily kitchen operations, including inventory control, food preparation, and presentation.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff in food handling techniques and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with restaurant management to create seasonal menus and special offerings.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all aspects of food handling and preparation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen environment.
- Monitor food costs and waste to optimize profitability.
- Foster a positive team atmosphere through effective leadership and communication.

**Skills**
- Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation techniques, and kitchen equipment.
- Experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles is preferred.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Proficiency in various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Bartending experience is a plus for establishments that serve beverages alongside meals.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills with the capability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $20.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 20 per week

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
