**About us**:
At OIB Child and Youth Services (OIB) we believe that all children and youth should have the opportunity to live in a safe and nurturing environment. We provide all-inclusive care in a residential setting to children ranging in age from 6-12 years old. You will contribute to their lives by doing a bit of everything
- from administering medications to cooking and cleaning, driving to and from appointments; in addition to providing emotional and behavioural support. Staff at OIB provide a high level of care and support in everything we do for the youth at our homes.

We are currently looking for **Residential Support Workers** for a variety of shifts to contribute to our meaningful work

**What we are looking for**:

- Reliable
- Passionate about helping others.
- Excellent communicator who is understanding, patient, and non-judgmental while providing a high level of care to our children and youth.
- Valid BC Driver's Class 5 License and a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
- Must be 19 years or older.
- Full vaccination against COVID-19.

**Preferred but not required**:

- Experience working with youth who have a mental health diagnosis or experienced trauma.
- Experience administering and documenting daily medications.
- Education in a related field (education, psychology, child and youth care, counselling, health).

**Compensation, hours, and location**:
Compensation starts between $22-$24 per hour for hourly support shifts and between $290-325 for a 24-hour live-in shift. Hours are varied and a number of shifts at our two locations in Victoria, B.C. are available.
