Quality Assurance Technician

The Quality Assurance Technician will work to ensure product quality and support cross-functional teams within the production environment. They are responsible for monitoring and maintaining quality standards throughout various production processes, conducting inspections, implementing quality control procedures, and facilitating continuous improvement initiatives.
**Role and Responsibilities**:
- Job Responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Internal and External audit program leader
- Corrective/preventive action leader, advocate, and team player
- Dimensional Inspection, FAI Reports, Certificates of Conformance
- Document non-conformances, solicit and monitor corrective actions and arrange for release of castings to the customer.
- Must be able to work with external and internal customers
- Organizing, analyzing, and documenting testing and results
- Must be able to read drawings, and ensure compliance to customer specifications and standards
- Review and approve the web-based techniques as necessary.
- Special projects as required.
- Adheres to all health and safety rules and regulations.
- Other duties assigned on an as needed basis.
**Required Qualifications**
- Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with the use of measuring devices common to the manufacturing industry such as calipers and micrometers
- Experience with geometric dimension and tolerance (GD&T) principles
**Preferred Qualifications**:
**Experience in a quality function in the Aerospace industry.**
- College/University graduate or min. 5 years’ experience in a Quality function.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and Word
- Knowledge of statistical techniques, SPC, FMEA, APQP
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $25.00-$31.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week

**Education**:
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

- ASQC Certification (required)
