These positions are FLEXIBLE and REMOTE meaning your shift locations can and will change. You must be able to work a minimum of 1 day (8 hours) per week in order to be employed with OSFirst Health Care.

You must have a smartphone in order to be employed with us as our firm is digital and runs completely online.

**Requirements**:

- You must be able to work a minimum of 1 day (8 hours) per week in order to be employed with OSFirst Health Care. (You will be required to sign an employment contract)
- PSW Certificate /RPN Certificate.
- Cover letter + Resume
- Level 1 First Aid, CPR / AED Certificate.
- Mask fit test size if any
- VSS - vulnerable sector search within a 6-month period
- Tb Test or if you have chest x-ray done within a 6-month period.
- 2 References
- who have known you for the last 2 years.
- SIN Card copy
- Bank information /Void cheque
- Driver's license if any.
- Receipt of proof of vaccination - 2 or 3 doses (booster).
- Must have a smartphone.
- Valid G class drivers’ license, valid automobile insurance encouraged.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Must be able to walk, sit and stand for an extend period of time
- Must be able to bend, reach and lift
- Must be able to carry and transport objects of various sizes up to 25 lbs.
- Recent experience working with geriatrics, long-term care, or home services required.
- Excellent relationship building skills and the ability to engage and support the seniors you care for - experience caregiving / fostering relationships with seniors is a plus
- Excellent communicator, resilient, & flexible to meet the changing priorities
- Ability to resolve contentious or sensitive issues or situations independently
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of client information

**Daily Responsibilities**

The duties of this nurse include but are not limited to;
- Caring for seniors in their own homes or at a healthcare facility.
- Responsible for assisting seniors with activities of daily living (ADL), including personal hygiene and basic care.
- Observe and report any changes in the member’s status to the Concierge and Director of Wellness.
- Supporting seniors in additional areas such as meal prep, laundry, changing sheets, vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, etc.
- Participating with senior in customized activities
- Escorting seniors to appointments or to the grocery store (transportation would be coordinated).
- Supports and helps provide a Resident Advocacy Program through the promotion and respect of the Bill of Rights.
- Creates a comfortable and safe environment that provides opportunities for privacy, dignity, autonomy, independence and individuality and maintenance of personal lifestyle and values.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual, Freelance
Part-time hours: 15-20 per week

**Salary**: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
