Azure Technical Support consultant (Networking, Infrastructure & DevOps Specialist)

Location: Toronto, ON (Couple of days in Brampton office)

**Role Summary**: The **Azure Technical Support Prime** is a senior-level support engineer responsible for delivering expert-level assistance to enterprise customers using Microsoft Azure services. This role emphasizes **networking and security**, alongside strong capabilities in **SAAS solutions**, **Windows Server**, **IIS**, **SQL Server**, **CI/CD pipelines**, and **Git**.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- ** Networking & Security**:

- Troubleshoot and optimize **Azure networking** components including VNets, NSGs, VPNs, DNS, and load balancers.
- Manage **SSL/TLS certificates**, including procurement, renewal, secure binding in IIS and Azure App Services, and integration with Azure Key Vault.
- Ensure secure communication and compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- ** Customer-Facing Technical Support**:

- Act as the primary escalation point for complex Azure support cases involving infrastructure, networking, and DevOps.
- Provide deep technical troubleshooting and resolution for Azure IaaS and PaaS services.
- ** Windows Server & IIS Expertise**:

- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot **Windows Server** environments hosted on Azure.
- Ongoing operational support of an on-prem Azure ecosystem.
- ** SQL Server Administration**:

- Support **SQL Server** configuration, performance tuning, and high availability in Azure.
- Assist with migrations to **Azure SQL Database** or **SQL Managed Instance**.
- ** CI/CD & DevOps**:

- Work with vendor to design, implement, and troubleshoot **CI/CD pipelines** using **Azure DevOps**, **GitHub Actions**, or other tools.
- Guide customers in adopting **Infrastructure as Code (IaC)** using ARM, Bicep, or Terraform.
- ** Git & Source Control**:

- Manage Git repositories, enforce branching strategies, and resolve version control issues.
- Integrate Git with CI/CD pipelines and ensure secure and efficient code collaboration.
- ** Automation & Monitoring**:

- Develop automation scripts using **PowerShell**, **Bash**, or **Python**.
- Implement monitoring and alerting using **Azure Monitor**, **Log Analytics**, and **Application Insights**.
