Overview

We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Consultant to support the design, development, and deployment of data solutions on the Azure cloud platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Azure data services, cloud security, and DevOps practices, with a focus on building scalable and secure data pipelines and frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement data solutions using Azure Data Bricks (ADB), Azure SQL, Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), Synapse Analytics, and Unity Catalog.
- Develop and manage CI/CD and Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) pipelines for efficient data ingestion and orchestration.
- Build and maintain ETL processes and orchestration frameworks to support data integration and transformation.
- Ensure secure and compliant data environments by implementing Azure security best practices, including Service Principals, Managed Identities, and policy enforcement.
- Provide production support and troubleshooting for data pipelines and cloud-based data services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of data solutions with enterprise systems.
- Apply networking knowledge to support secure and efficient data communication across VNETs, subnets, ExpressRoute, and VPN gateways.

Required Qualifications

- Strong hands-on experience with Azure data services: ADB, Azure SQL, ADLS, Synapse, and Unity Catalog.
- Proficiency in building and managing CI/CD pipelines and EDP frameworks.
- Solid understanding of ETL processes, data ingestion, and orchestration tools.
- Familiarity with Azure networking components including VNETs, subnets, ExpressRoute, and VPN gateways.
- Experience with Azure security and identity management (Service Principals, Managed Identities, compliance policies).
- Proven ability to support production environments and troubleshoot data pipeline issues.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with data governance and cataloging tools.
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Bicep).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
