Asphalt Labourer

**Position Overview**
Our Highways division is looking to add an **Asphalt Labourer** for the **2025 Road Construction Season**. This role will require **extensive travel throughout Alberta and Saskatchewan**.
We are currently in need of Asphalt Labourers who can perform manual tasks such as shoveling, raking, lifting, pulling, and carrying all asphalt construction materials as required. Additionally, they would be responsible for helping to dress and prepare paving equipment, as well as working in conjunction with machine operators from the ground to ready surfaces and asphalt placement.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Utilizes hand tools and pneumatic tools to fix.
- Must have good manual skills and strength required to perform all laborer type duties.
- Must possess ability to work both supervised and unsupervised and have strong communication skills.
- Ability to work long hours and weekends in rural or remote areas.
- Must have the ability to hear, speak and follow directions carefully.
- Continually required to reach, pull, carry, grab, pull, and lift.
- Must possess both good strength and good endurance as work performed in all types of weather conditions.
- Must be able to lift 50+ pounds regularly daily
**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
