- Clothesline Part-time Store Clerk Who we are: The Clothesline is a retail store offering gently used clothing, shoes & accessories for sale. All merchandise is acquired through donations. The store is in downtown Cochrane. It’s a not-for-profit business owned and operated by the Cochrane Activettes. Profits from the store directly benefit the Activettes community programs. Responsibilities and Job Duties Include:
- Representing the values and competencies of the organisation, providing excellent service to customers and donors;
- Maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the store;
- Working collaboratively and communicating effectively with volunteers and staff team members;
- Sorting and pricing clothing;
- Serving customers, money handling and using debit machines,
- Complying with all policies and procedures including those relating to health and safety, daily operations and finance.
- Capable of lifting up to 25 lbs and be mobile. The job entails extended time on your feet. Qualifications:
- Active, methodical, task orientated,
- Outgoing, welcoming and positive personality
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written,
- Successful reference and background check.
