In-Home Assisted Living Inc. (Homecare) of Toronto is looking for compassionate, caring and reliable individuals to join our family as Tagalog speaking Caregivers/Personal Support Workers (PSW's) for our client in South Etobicoke. Work setting is within private home. Bloor & Islington // ongoing Saturdays 12 noon - 6pm

As a IHAL employee, you will make a difference in the lives of our clients and their families through compassionate, client focused care especially during the Covid 19 pandemic.

**How you will spend your days**:
Basic Meal Preparation
Assistance with personal care, hygiene, and grooming (ADL's)
Light Housekeeping (IADL's vacuuming, laundry, dishes etc.)
Medication Reminders
Assisting clients with mobility, ambulation, and transfers
Providing companionship and emotional support
Responding to emergency situations
Engage client, daily walk, weather permitting
Play games, Uno, Bingo
Complete daily shift reports to communicate with Case Managers

**Success in this role**:
Personal Support Worker Certificate
Foreign Nurse
Current CPR/First Aid Certification Preferred
Mobile phone (for timesheets and care plan updates)
Documentation skills
Ability to follow client care plan
Strong communication skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Excellent customer service skills

**Compensation**:
$20.00 per hour.
