**About this role**

As a Personal Support Worker at CareHop, you will play a crucial role in assisting individuals in their daily lives while maintaining a clean and safe environment. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Assist clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to promote well-being.
- Perform routine professional cleaning tasks to ensure a hygienic and comfortable living environment.
- Work closely with healthcare professionals, families, and other team members to provide exceptional care.
- Communicate effectively to report any changes in the client's condition or needs.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
- Follow established protocols for reporting incidents or concerns.

**Requirements**:

- Personal Support Worker (PSW) Certificate or equivalent
- More than 3 years of continuous experience working in community/hospital/LTC settings as a PSW
- Experience working with Dementia patients is required.
- Previous experience in residential house cleaning (either paid or unpaid) will be an asset
- Must have a full G License and access to own vehicle will be considered as an asset.
- Have a clear and recent Vulnerable Sector Screening
- Have a valid CPR/First Aid certificate, Proof of immunization (flu shot), Mask Fit Certificate and TB test
- Must possess a valid SIN and Work Permit to work in Canada
- Reliable and hardworking
- Compassionate

**Job Types**: Permanent, Casual

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
