**JOB SUMMARY**:
The **Executive Assistant **provides administrative support to the President & Chief Executive Officer and serves as liaison to the Board of Directors and senior management team.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Executive Support_
- Manages and maintains President & CEO’s schedule and appointments
- Arranges corporate travel and associated meetings; develops itineraries and agendas
- Prepares and edits correspondence, communications, presentations, and other documents
- Files and retrieves documents and reference materials
- Arranges and coordinates meetings and events
- Records, transcribes, and distributes minutes of meetings
- Monitors, screens, responds to, and distributes incoming communications
- Answers and manages incoming calls
- Receives and interacts with incoming visitors
- Liaises with internal staff at all levels
- Communicates directly, and on behalf of the President & CEO, with Board members and others
- Provides a bridge for smooth communication between the President and internal departments
- Works closely and effectively with the President & CEO to ensure he remains informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities and follows up appropriately.
- Maintains a sense of issues taking place in the environment, keeping the President & CEO updated
- Successfully completes critical aspects of deliverables with a hands-on approach to tasks that facilitate the President & CEO’s ability to effectively lead the company
- Prioritizes conflicting needs; handles matters expeditiously and proactively
- Board Support and Liaison_
- Serves as the President & CEO’s administrative liaison to the Board of Directors
- Assists Board members with travel arrangements, lodging, and meal planning as needed
- Maintains discretion and confidentiality in relationships with all Board members
- Adheres to compliance with applicable rules and regulations regarding Board and Board Committee matters, including advance distribution of materials before meetings in electronic and/or paper format
- Attends Board and Board Committee meetings to record minutes; transcribes and distributes minutes
- Senior Management Liaison_
- Assists in scheduling Senior Management meetings; attends all meetings
- Coordinates the agenda of senior management team meetings and off-site meetings
**REQUIRMENTS**:
- Post-secondary business administration diploma or degree
- Five (5) years’ experience providing administrative support to executives

- Bachelor’s Degree
