**Job Summary**
JP Laboratories is hiring immediately the following 3 full time positions in Mississauga facility: HPLC Chemist-1, GC Chemist-1, ICP Chemist-1
**Requirements**:
- Must be residing in Canada
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in chemistry or pharmacy
- 3+ years hands on experience in GMP laboratory
- Working knowledge on ChemStation software
- Possess a general knowledge of chemistry fundamentals; ability to understand terminology and principles to comply with analytical methods
- Possess strong computer skills with knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Multi-tasked, organized, detail oriented, and possess excellent problem-solving capabilities; will have good time management capabilities and be able to work independently of supervision
- Ability to take ownership for meeting goals and objectives
- Proficient English verbal and written communication skills
- Working in a very fast paced environment by performing analytical testing for assigned products with standard time and under minimum supervision
**Responsibilities**
- Analyze, interpretation and data review
- Operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Developing or adapting procedures
- Document activities and report results in a concise and accurate manner
- Evaluate, approve, and analyze the results of QC samples
- Identify and report quality problems to the supervisor of QA department
- Other duties as assigned
The primary purpose of this position is to analyze samples using HPLC, GCFID, GCMS or ICP methodologies and to review data for release to clients. Assistance with maintenance of instruments and in the development of new methods or modifications to procedures will also be required.
