**Job Title: Project Administrator**

**Department**: Construction / Real Estate Development
**Reports to**: Project Manager

**Job Summary**:
The Project Administrator will be responsible for supporting the management of residential construction projects by accurately estimating housing costs, processing and submitting order forms for both interior and exterior selections, and maintaining project timelines. This role is essential in ensuring smooth communication between various teams, vendors, and stakeholders, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Cost Estimation**:

- Prepare and manage detailed cost estimates for residential housing projects.
- Ability to understand detailed construction drawings
- Collaborate with designers, vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather cost information for materials, labor, and other related expenses.
- Ensure all estimates are accurate, up-to-date, and reflect the project scope.
- **Order Processing & Selections**:

- Manage order forms created during the selection process for interior and exterior finishes, including flooring, cabinetry, paint, fixtures, and other design elements.
- Submit order forms and purchase requests for approved selections in a timely manner.
- Track and confirm delivery schedules with vendors, ensuring materials arrive on-site as needed.
- **Project Timeline Management**:

- Develop and maintain project schedules, including key milestones, deliverables, and deadlines.
- Monitor critical paths and adjust timelines as necessary to account for delays or unforeseen issues.
- Coordinate with the project team to ensure alignment on tasks and timelines, helping to mitigate risks of schedule overruns.
- **Communication & Documentation**:

- Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related communications between clients, contractors, and internal teams.
- Ensure accurate documentation of all project-related decisions, including change orders and budget adjustments.
- Prepare and distribute weekly project status reports, highlighting progress, potential issues, and upcoming tasks.
- **Risk & Issue Management**:

- Identify potential project risks related to cost overruns, delays, or material availability and proactively provide solutions.
- Assist the project manager in resolving issues that arise during the course of the project.

**Qualifications**:

- Recommended but not limited to: Construction technologist, Architectural Technologist, Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience in project administration or construction project management.
- Strong understanding of housing construction processes and terminology.
- Proficiency in project management softwares and spreadsheets (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Projects, Google Sheets, and estimating tools).
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in residential construction or home building.
- Knowledge of interior and exterior material selections.
- Efficient in math and geometry
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to managing project timelines.

Pay: $60,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
