As a Low Voltage Installer, you'll have the chance to explore the fascinating world of home automation and low voltage systems while enjoying a mix of indoor and outdoor tasks throughout the year.
If you're comfortable using basic hand and power tools, navigating ladders safely, and communicating effectively with team members and clients, then we want to hear from you
**Key Responsibilities**:
Assist with installing and setting up home automation systems, running structured wiring in new home construction while blending indoor and outdoor work seamlessly regardless of the weather.
Safely maneuver through various construction environments, using ladders to access installation sites and completing tasks with care and precision.
Demonstrate proficiency with basic hand and power tools, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
Maintain a clean driving abstract and assist with transportation needs for equipment and materials to job sites, year-round.
Communicate effectively with team members and clients, fostering clear understanding and collaboration throughout each project.
Must be able to meet the following physical demands:
- Carry equipment weighing up to 50lbs
- Work comfortably with arms overhead
- Work at heights including ladders and lifts.
- Complete tasks that require bending/crouching/kneeling
**Qualifications Required**:
- Valid Alberta Class 5 drivers license or equivalent with the ability to travel throughout the work day
- Fluent in English written and verbal communications
- Able to pass a criminal record check

**Salary**: $15.50-$20.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
