**Manager Life Insurance Customer services team**
**Essential Job Functions**:
- Manage and coach a team of Life Insurance customer service representatives, supporting life insurance new business functions.
Collaborating with other cross-functional teams to support the client’s service levels (SLAs) and turn-around times (TAT).
- Monitor staff productivity and performance.
- Ensure client’s requirements are successfully met and issues efficiently resolved.
- Assist in the professional growth and mentorship of team members through regular feedback, coaching, and career development planning.
- Participate in client sponsored projects, including product enhancements, system and process transformations
Proactively identify and mitigate risks, working to resolve issues as they arise.
Promote a culture of innovation, problem solving, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team.
**Basic Qualifications**:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
Typically, 6+ years of relevant Life Insurance work experience, Strong knowledge of Life Insurance products and processes
Prior experience in a supervisory, leadership or mentoring capacity
Good communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to learn and grow in a leadership role
Strong organizational and time management skills Required to prioritise efforts on crucial deadline at the end of the month and be available for month-ends.
**Other Qualifications**:
Advanced degree in a related field is a plus
Relevant certifications or training a plus.
