ARCP is a locally owned & operated heavy civil construction company based in Dartmouth, NS. One of our specialties is concrete placement and we are looking to expand our team with those experienced in the field to meet our current demand for operations. We have a project coming up in the Bridgewater area that is starting mid July. Whether you’re experienced with prepping, forming, finishing, or leading the whole crew altogether, we want to hear from you Concrete operations are seasonal in nature, but we will keep our crews working for as long as possible.

**Requirements**:

- Valid Drivers License & reliable transportation to work required.
- Capable of physically strenuous manual labour and poses manual dexterity.
- Can competently use basic hand tools.
- Experience prepping, forming, and finishing concrete preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Strong communication skills.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
Tasks vary dependent on position but could include any of the following:

- Preparing surfaces for concrete placement.
- Building, installing and removing concrete forms.
- Mixing, pouring and spreading concrete.
- Assisting heavy equipment operators to secure attachments to equipment
- Pouring, shoveling, grading and smoothing concrete.
- Responsible for the direct placement of concrete.
- Smooth and finish freshly poured concrete.
- Maintain and restore various curbs, sidewalks, etc.
- Operating a power vibrator to compress concrete.
- Repair/resurface/replace worn or damaged concrete.
- Complete desired finished concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
- Other duties as required.
