Calgary, Canada Two Pillars Brewery Full time

Two Pillars Brewery is a nano brewery located in the Cresent Heights Community just north of Calgary downtown. Opened in 2020, producing yeast-forward, aromatic and balanced brew 100 Litres at a time. Constantly rotating small batch taps along with our 6 Core lineup focusing on Belgian style beers.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about brewing, love to try our new ingredients and ideas, obsessed about brewing to join our team.

Head Brewer, reporting to the General Manager.

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- In charge of all beer production activity
- Develop small batch recipes and producing beer
- Manager forecast with General Manager
- Manage inventory
- Be a brand embassador
- Calculating cost
- Arrange packaging and labeling
- Ordering ingredients and supplies
- Maintenance of equipments
- Cleaning of brewery
- Organize and keeping all brews records in accordance to AGLC and Excise
- Kegs cleaning
- Develop new seasonals, collaborations.
- Continue to develop SOP and train staff
- Be an ambassador of the brand and be part of events, including, tasting events, speaking engagements, festivals and workshops

**Qualifications and Competencies**
- Proserve
- Food Safety and Sanitation Certificate is an asset
- Diploma in Brewmaster and Brewery Operations Management is an asset
- English (spoken/written)
- Able to lift up to 140lbs

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift

- Calgary, AB T2E 2P7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
