Northern Force Security is seeking a dedicated security guard to work continental shifts at a retirement residence in Mississauga.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- ** Safety & Security**: Monitor and secure the premises, ensuring the safety of residents, staff, and visitors at all times.
- ** Access Control**: Manage visitor and contractor entry and exit.
- ** Patrol Duties**: Conduct regular internal and external patrols to deter and detect security breaches, suspicious activities, and safety hazards.
- ** Emergency Response**: Respond promptly to medical incidents, fire alarms, and other emergencies.
- ** Customer Service**: Provide professional and courteous assistance to residents and visitors.
- ** Report Writing**: Accurately document and report all incidents and observations.
- ** Compliance**: Follow all security policies and procedures, including confidentiality and resident privacy.

**Qualifications**:

- ** Work Authorization**: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
- ** Security License**: Valid Ontario Security Guard License required.
- ** CPR/First Aid**: Valid certification required.
- ** Experience**: Previous experience in security, particularly in residential or healthcare settings, is preferred.
- ** Communication Skills**: Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- ** Attention to Detail**: High level of observation skills and awareness.
- ** Professionalism**: Must demonstrate integrity, discretion, and professionalism in handling sensitive situations.
- ** Physical Fitness**: Ability to stand for extended periods and conduct regular patrols.
- ** TB Test**: A tuberculosis (TB) test must be provided prior to hiring.

Week 1: Friday to Sunday from 06:30 AM to 06:30 PM (morning shift) and from 06:30 PM to 06:30 AM (night shift)
Week 2: Thursday to Sunday from 06:30 AM to 06:30 PM and from 06:30 PM to 06:30 AM (night shift)
Scheduled Hours: Must be available to start immediately
