**Position: Security Guard**

**Location**: Mississauga, ON

**Job Type**: Full-Time

Northern Force Security is seeking a dedicated security guard available to work continental shifts at a retirement residence in Mississauga**.**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- ** Safety & Security**: Monitor and secure the premises, ensuring the safety of residents, staff, and visitors at all times.
- ** Access Control**: Manage access to the facility, including monitoring visitor and contractor entry and exit.
- ** Patrol Duties**: Conduct regular internal and external patrols of the property to deter and detect security breaches, suspicious activities, and safety hazards.
- ** Emergency Response**: Respond swiftly and effectively to emergencies, including medical incidents, fire alarms, and other critical situations.
- ** Customer Service**: Provide professional, courteous assistance to residents and visitors, ensuring a welcoming and safe environment.
- ** Report Writing**: Document and report all incidents, activities, and observations during shifts with accuracy and clarity.
- ** Compliance**: Adhere to all security policies and procedures, including those related to confidentiality and resident privacy.

**Qualifications**:

- ** Security License**: Must possess a valid Security Guard License in Ontario.
- ** CPR/First Aid**: Valid certification in CPR and First Aid is required.
- ** Experience**: Previous experience in security, particularly in a residential or healthcare setting, is preferred.
- ** Communication Skills**: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- ** Attention to Detail**: High level of observation skills and attention to detail.
- ** Professionalism**: Must demonstrate a professional demeanor, integrity, and the ability to handle sensitive situations with tact and discretion.
- ** Physical Fitness**: Ability to perform the physical demands of the job, including standing for extended periods and conducting patrols.
