**Plate Maker**

**Shift Time: 2:50pm - 12:50am**

Are you a dedicated and detail-oriented professional with experience in flexographic printing or a strong interest in supporting press operations? Join our team as a **Plate Maker** where you’ll play a vital role in ensuring seamless operations and exceptional product quality. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment are detail oriented, we’d love to hear from you

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Production**
- Create plates and rotary screens for all presses
- Manage workload according to production schedule

**Equipment Maintenance and Cleaning**
- Ensure all equipment is maintained in clean and good working order
- Wash and file used plates daily

**Inventory Management**
- Maintain levels and budget of screen and plate inventory
- Maintain an organized file system for all film, plates and proofs
- Track new, reused and remake plates via Excel

**Supplier Relations**
- Act as the primary contact for equipment and consumable suppliers

**Policy Adherence**
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s)
- Maintain 5S standards and prioritize safe practices

**Operational Support**
- Support the prepress area or when required
- Press Queue
- PWO compilation as required
- Other duties as assigned

**QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS**

**Education**: High school diploma or equivalent.

**Skills and Requirements**:

- Strong attention to details
- Must possess good organizational skills
- Team Player
- Safety Conscious
- Experience working with computers
- High energy, self-starter able to work with mínimal supervision
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Must be flexible and able to work overtime as required
- **Preference to those with Computer-to-Plate (Litho and Flexo) knowledge and experience**:

- **Preference will be given to those with Computer skills**
