NDE Technician

Trenergy is a 100 percent locally owned fabrication plant in St. Catharines, Ontario specializing in the manufacture of boilers, pressure vessels, rail tank cars and more. We are looking for an experienced NDE Technician to join our growing team. We offer a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefit package including RRSP contributions.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Perform NDE work effectively and efficiently in accordance with the schedules and the priority of the jobs in the shop
- Ensure that all NDE is carried out in accordance with approved written procedures and the necessary records are completed
- Perform Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT), Radiographic Testing (RT) and Ultrasonic Testing (UT) based on approved written procedures that comply with various code requirements
- Qualify and maintain skills to the latest Codes (ASNT SNT-TC-1A & ASME ), (CGSB), (CNSC) & (CWB)
- Ensure that all necessary NDE equipment is calibrated before use
- Providie timely feedback on NDE activity to the NDE Manager
- Be willing to continuously upgrade Certification in NDE Education and Research & Development
- Maintain an orderly and safe NDE facility
- Follow proper safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers
- Complete necessary reports for internal and external customers
- Other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

- CGSB MT, PT, UT - Level 2
- CEDO will be an asset
- CGSB RT L2 will be an asset
- CWB L2 will be an asset
- Full Ontario Drivers license
