Job Posting: Early Childhood Educator (ECE)

Muin Sipu Learning Center offers early learning programs as well as after school programming. The Center offers a play-based, emergent and culturally meaningful curriculum for all programs. We are looking for a qualified, passionate and motivated individual to join our team of educators.

This position is from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

**Qualifications**:

- A diploma, certificate or degree in Early Childhood Education from a recognized institution
- Minimum Level 1 ECE certification
- Valid First Aid Certification with Infant CPR
- Clear and valid child abuse registry, criminal record and vulnerable person checks

**Responsibilities**:

- Play-based, emergent program development, including observations and evaluation of play and development of the children in your care
- Work collaboratively with other ECE’s in a team environment
- Provide a safe, nurturing and stimulating learning environment to enhance development in all areas, while providing for the health and social well-being of the children
- Use of appropriate behavior guidance techniques
- Establish and maintain effective communication with children, staff, parents and manager
- Maintain an inviting and clean classroom environment
- Other duties as assigned by the Manager.

Pay: $33,150.00-$35,360.00 per year
