Roofing Labourer

Empire Roofing Corp., one of North America's leading commercial and industrial roofing companies has exceptional opportunities for experienced Construction Labourer's with occasional driving for our Windsor locations.

Empire Roofing specializes in commercial/industrial flat roofing projects from 1,000 - 1,000,000 square feet. We work with all types of businesses and have completed several projects for prominent brands like Lowe’s, Coca-Cola, Giant Tiger, McDonalds, University of Western Ontario, Wayne Gretzky’s Winery and many more.

Job Functions:

- Provide site clean-up
- Moving materials as directed
- Remove rubble and debris on site
- Assist with the tear off of old roofing systems
- Learn new roofing techniques and systems
- Assist with the installation of different types of roofing systems
- Assist crew in all construction activities
- Maintain Health & Safety standards and follow safety regulations

Job Requirements:

- Ability to work outdoors in different weather conditions
- Able to lift up to 50lbs
- Knowledge of Ontario safety regulations
- Access to tools/equipment and CSA approved safety gear
- Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must be flexible with working hours and able to travel out of town as needed
- Working at Heights Certification
