Temporary External Posting 2024-2025 January 27, 2025, to June 30, 2025 Ayajuthem Language 9-12 qathet School District invites applications from qualified teachers for a (0.50 FTE) Ayajuthem Language Teacher position starting January 27, 2025. Preference will be given to those with Indigenous ancestry. The District serves the educational needs of approximately 3000 students through elementary and secondary (Gr. 8-12) schools and other educational programs and employs approximately 400 staff.

Qualification s Completion of a teacher education program through a recognized post secondary institution Current teaching certificate in BC Good level of familiarity with Ayajuthem and commitment to continue to develop fluency Knowledge of Tla'amin culture Salary The annual salary for teaching positions range from $61,415 to $109,520, with placement on the grid based on length of service, qualifications and FTE, in accordance with the collective agreement.
