Coastal Convenience-Powell River has an opening for a Grocery Store Clerk.

Clerks are responsible for providing fast, friendly service to customers in our grocery store.

The Store Clerk will be responsible for:

- Going the Extra Mile for our customers and fellow team members.
- Operating a cash register.
- Sharing product knowledge with customers.
- Ensuring the department is well stocked and presented.
- Handling customer service inquiries and providing a positive customer experience.
- Cleaning work area to ensure a safe and sanitary work environment.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Previous work experience is a plus + but not required. If you are willing to learn, we are eager to train you with the skills you need to succeed.
- You have a friendly demeanor and a positive attitude.
- You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness and availability to work a variety of shifts, including: Mornings, Afternoons, Evenings & Weekends
- You like working in teams and can work with mínimal supervision.
- You have excellent communication skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.85-$18.40 per hour

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Work days:

- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)

Work Location: In person

Expected start date: 2025-06-12
