**About the Opportunity**
**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Monitor instruments on one or more chemical formulation units
- Measure, weigh and load chemical ingredients following formulation cards
- Start up, shut down and troubleshoot equipment
- Take samples and ensure excellent quality control
- Adjust processing machines and equipment
- Record production information
- Clean and maintain workspace
**Qualifications**
- Experience in making oil-based paints, emulsion paints, or water-based paints is an asset
- Forklift license
- Excellent organizational skills, communication skills, and efficient time management skills
- Great attention to detail, high accountability
- Team player with independent judgement and effective interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working with a combination of sitting, standing, or walking for extended periods
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
**Additional pay**:
- Discretionary bonus pay
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $20.00-$29.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Overtime
