At AMS - Automated Manufacturing Systems, we are dedicated to introducing the next generation of automation and robotics. We are currently seeking a passionate and motivated **Junior Machine Builder** to join our team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in building, assembling, and testing custom automation machinery, fixtures, and tooling.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics to ensure accurate construction.
- Safely operate hand and power tools, including grinders and drills.
- Conduct functionality tests and report any issues or defects in parts.
- Work closely with senior team members and engineers to learn and assist with project builds.
- Perform **MIG welding** as needed for assembling components and fixtures.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following safety guidelines.
- Support in troubleshooting and resolving build issues as they arise.
- Ensure project tasks are completed safely and efficiently.

**Qualifications**:

- 1-2 years of experience in fixture building, tool making, or related fields.
- Familiarity with hand and power tools, basic machining, and assembly.
- Experience with MIG welding is an asset.
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

**Work Schedule**: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts, with overtime as required.

Pay: $23.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
