Custom Cad is looking for a structural and miscellaneous steel detailer to join our growing team. With over 15 years in operation and a combined 55 years of expertise, we provide our clients with a range of services including creation of installation and fabrication drawings.

**Major Responsibilities**:

- Completion of fabrication and installation drawings
- Check and verify drawings to conform to specifications and design data
- Utilize CAD software to create detailed steel shop drawings for structural and miscellaneous projects
- Review and interpret project specifications and requirements
- Conduct site visits for measurement and verification purposes
- Produce accurate shop drawings that follow civil engineering conventions
- Other duties as required

**Qualifications**:

- 3 years experience as a technologist, drafter, detailer or equivalent work experience
- Technology Diploma (preferably Civil) from a recognized and accredited Technical Institute
- Proficient with AutoCAD
- Experience with Advanced Steel, Revitt, 3d reality scanning/modelling, and point cloud data (Considered an asset)
- Fabrication and welding knowledge (considered an asset)
- Intermediate experience with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Databases, Outlook etc.)
- Excellent English, verbal and written communication skills

**Salary**: $55,000.00 per year
