**About us**

Weidmuller is a leading manufacturer of electronic and electrical connectivity solutions for the transmission of power, data, and control signals in industrial environments. We currently have an opening at our Markham headquarters for a high-energy, motivated Warehouse Associate to join our team.

Joining the Warehouse Team, the Warehouse Associates’ responsibilities include incoming receiving and putting away stock, picking and packing outgoing orders to Customers, Sales representatives, and distributors, assisting with daily cycle counts, daily housekeeping, and replenishing stock as needed.

**Warehouse Associate**

The Warehouse Associate position is responsible for receiving, storing, and sorting products in a warehouse setting.

**Essential Functions**:

- Receive warehouse stock products and palletize in the correct order.
- Unload warehouse stock products from trucks and stage in designated area.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks, as needed.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Maintain the warehouse facility by cleaning, stocking, and organizing the warehouse.
- Work cooperatively with other departments to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor or general manager.

**Desired Skills**:

- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Must be able to stand for up to 10 hours a day.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have good attendance record.
- Must be able to work overtime as needed.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers and management.
- Must be able to follow instructions without question.
- Must have good attendance record.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. (Markham, ON employees must be available for work on weekends (Friday & Saturday) when not working the scheduled shifts.)

**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Markham, ON L3R 5H6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- DCS / DEC (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Warehouse: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class G Licence (preferred)
