**Responsibilities**
- **Greeting and Customer Service**: Welcome clients with a friendly, professional demeanor as they arrive and leave. Provide a positive and memorable experience to all clients.
- **Appointment Management**: Schedule and confirm appointments, both in person and over the phone. Use booking software to track and manage appointments, cancellations, and waitlists.
- **Client Assistance**: Assist clients with inquiries regarding services, pricing, products, and promotions. Help clients with payment processing and ensuring a smooth check-out experience.
- **Shop Operations**: Ensure the barbershop is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies. Maintain the waiting area, keeping it tidy and comfortable.
- **Product Sales**: Promote and sell grooming products to clients, providing product recommendations based on individual needs.
- **Administrative Tasks**: Manage cash register, process payments (cash, credit card), handle minor administrative tasks, and maintain accurate client records when needed.
- **Communication**: Stay in close communication with barbers to ensure they are informed of the schedule and any client-specific preferences or needs.
- **Maintaining a Positive Atmosphere**: Assist in fostering a welcoming and professional environment, supporting the barbershop’s reputation for great customer service.

**Qualifications**
- **Experience**: Previous receptionist or customer service experience preferred, ideally in a barbershop, salon, or hospitality setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with appointment scheduling software or POS systems (or willingness to learn)
- Cash handling and basic financial transaction experience
- Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor
- Team player who works well with others
- Enthusiastic about the barbershop culture and the grooming industry
- Positive attitude, problem-solving skills, and ability to stay calm under pressure
- **Availability**: Must be flexible with work hours, including weekends and evenings.

Pay: $16.55-$21.00 per hour
