**Master-Level (1 Year Contract)**:

Aside from publicly fighting the stigma around mental health issues, bringing light to the real issues that people go through, and being human and approachable ourselves, our main mission to heal our community is done by connecting with individual people to provide professional counselling services.**Position Details**:
**Requirements & Qualifications**:

- Minimum Master-level degree in Psychology or Social Work
- Experience using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). DBT is an asset.
- Registration with the Ontario College of Social Workers (OCSW), the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), or the College of Psychologists of Ontario (CPO).
- Demonstrated experience using CBT. DBT, EMDR, or other trauma focused counselling techniques are highly valued.
- Familiarity with and sensitivity to the impact of Indian Residential Schools.
- Knowledge of treatment for trauma, PTSD, grief, depression, and anxiety.
- Clear criminal reference check.
- Professional liability insurance.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and independently
- Must be able and willing to work from home if needed
- Must have internet and telephone access to provide remote sessions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organization and time management skills

**Additional Information**:
Location: Kelly Mental Health Clinic, Thunder Bay, ON
- Remote: Due to Covid-19, you may be required to work from your home office.
- Position Type: 1 year contract (possible contract extension or permanent position)
- Hours: Full Time Contract 1 Year 35 Hours/Week**COVID-19 Considerations & Precautions**:
Video and telephone therapy demand in our clinic has substantially increased due to COVID-19, and we expect the demand to continue to increase for video therapy services. On occasion and based on clients needs, you will be required to work from home in a private/home office. Personal protective equipment provided and required, social distancing guidelines in place as per provincial standard, and sanitizing, disinfecting, or cleaning procedures have been created and are being implemented at the clinic for you and your clients.
