**Pay range**: $53,000-65,000

The prime function of the Reception & Accounting Clerk is to provide support to our customers and vendors through various communication methods as well as provide clerical support to the accounting department.
- Answering and directing phone calls, taking messages, transferring calls, and providing information to callers
- Handling mail and correspondences. Sorting and distributing mail, faxing, and scanning documents.
- Communicate with customers regarding account statuses and respond to inquiries.
- Prepare and send invoices to customers and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Post customer payments by recording cash, check, and credit card transactions.
- Reconcile customer accounts and investigate discrepancies or issues.
- Generate AR aging reports and assist in monitoring and collecting overdue accounts.
- Review and verify invoices for accuracy, including matching purchase orders and receipts.
- Enter and process invoices ensuring timely payment of vendor bills.
- Enter AP invoices into the accounting system
- Reconcile AP transactions and prepare reports as needed.
- Work with vendors on payments and outstanding statements as required
- Communicate with vendors regarding invoice discrepancies, payment inquiries, and other issues.
- Maintain organized records of financial documents, invoices and receipts.
- Perform additional administrative duties.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a reception or customer service role
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in completing detailed clerical work
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite. Strong proficiency in Excel is an asset
- Strong data entry accuracy and ability to spot errors
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers, vendors, and team members.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

The position is permanent full-time with benefits and employer sponsored RRSP plan.

**Schedule**: Monday - Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-4pm

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $53,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
