Brunel Commercial Interiors is currently looking for Apprentices & Cabinet Makers. Our facility is located near Glenmore and Blackfoot in SE Calgary. Brunel was established in 1964 and is still a family owned and operated business.
Position Summary:
Responsibilities:
- Interpret architectural drawings and blueprints
- Fabricate custom wood components including cabinets, panels, moldings, and trim
- Operate woodworking machinery (e.g., table saws, routers, planers, jointers, CNC machines)
- Perform precise measuring, cutting, and assembly
- Ensure quality control standards are met at all times
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to meet deadlines Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in architectural millwork or custom cabinetry
- Proficient in reading and interpreting shop/architectural drawings
- Skilled in using hand tools and woodworking machinery
- Attention to detail and a strong work ethic
- Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
- Experience with CNC equipment (a plus)
- Valid driver’s license (a plus) Benefits
