Candu Energy Inc./SNC-Lavalin Nuclear Inc. is actively seeking qualified Security Advisor.

**How will you contribute to the team?**
- Provide physical and personnel security support by assisting with physical security controls (i.e. guards and access control).
- Assist in the evaluation of security posture for the continuous protection of personnel, buildings, and assets including creating, modifying, and deleting access control cards.
- Establish and maintain working relationships with business operations to enable effective physical security policies, procedures, and support.
- Maintain updated knowledge of regulations and standards in the field of security.
- Serve as an Alternate Company Security Officer (ACSO in relation to the Designated Organization Screening and Facility Security Clearance with the Government of Canada.
- Provide support to the Security Lead by processing and managing Security Clearance for all staff and/or contractors based on company and project needs.
- Assist employees/contractors with security processes, including collecting information and submitting requests for personnel security clearance.
- Ensure required security briefings are received upon notification of having been granted a Reliability Status or Security Clearance.
- Ensure that personnel security screening files are properly safeguarded.
- Completion of any required Company Security Officer (CSO) certifications and/or training

**What will you contribute?**
- Completion of College or Technical training in a related field considered an asset.
- 4+ years of experience in a security-related field (access control or CCTV operations, or other relevant experience)
- Asset - experience in an administrative role
- Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to converse with all levels of management and liaise with the government.
- Efficient in prioritizing workloads and multi-tasking to ensure deadlines are achieved.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Level II (SECRET) clearance with the Government of Canada.
