Harbour Door is an established and successful family-maintained Victoria based business. For over 35 years we have been installing and servicing overhead doors and gate systems for both residential and commercial clients. Our staff of dynamic employees works together within a team-oriented environment to exceed the expectations of our customers.

**Key Responsibilities**: To install, repair and maintain overhead /rolling doors, operators and gate systems. You must have experience with Parking Gates, Operators, Rolling Doors and Sectional Doors (Gate Operator experience is an asset).

**What We Offer**:

- Permanent, Full-time employment Monday-Friday
- Competitive hourly wage of $35.00-$50.00/hr or better depending on experience, and access to a benefit package after a successful 3-month probationary period

- We offer paid training courses from Camosun College, for welding and low voltage electricity, if required to enhance job performance

- Ability to work with dedicated staff who are supportive and do quality work

**What We Require**:

- Valid Class 5 driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract (proof will be required)
- Min. of 2 years experience working as an overhead door technician
- Physically fit and able to lift a min. of 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working at heights (ladders and lifts are used)
- Ability to drive forklift and scissor lifts
- Solid welding experience and competence
- Experience with electrical control wiring
- General construction knowledge, including experience with power and hand tools
- Mechanically and technically inclined
- Good communication and problem-solving skills, including strong attention to detail
- Positive attitude with motivation and the willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and with others
- Ability to always represent Harbour Doors in a positive manner, maintaining a professional tone and approach to both verbal and written communications

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $35.00-$50.00 per hour
