Job Outline:
The Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for technical and clerical functions in the area assigned. Duties include unit-dose or traditional dispensing, medication order entry, medication cart refill, ward stock replenishment, inventory management, sterile products preparation, manufacturing and pre-packaging. All rotations include responsibility for continuous quality improvement and workload measurement
Education & Qualifications:
- Pharmacy Technician Diploma from a Canadian Council for Accreditation of Pharmacy Programs (CCAPP) accredited college
- Registered and licensed as a Pharmacy Technician (RPhT designation) with the Ontario College of Pharmacists under Part A, in good standing and authorized to practice
- A minimum of 1 year related hospital experience is required, with 3 years’ experience preferred
- Strong organization and problem solving skills. Salary: Minimum
- $32.32./hour; Maximum
